EXTRUDER OPERATORS

OSI Plastics (Columbus, Ohio) is seeking experienced extruder operators in our custom profile and HDPE pipe operations. Individuals must be able to set up, start up, and operate plastic extrusion lines. Openings are available on all three shifts. LABORER

Ohio Steel Industries structural steel division is accepting applications for laborers. Job responsibilities include handling of material, assisting in paint shop, performing various tasks as assigned including drilling, grinding, and blasting while maintaining a clean and efficient work area. QUALITY INSPECTOR

Ohio Steel Industries, Inc. is currently accepting applications for a Quality Inspector at its Structural Steel Division. The individual must be proficient in reading shop detail drawings and be able to use all standard measuring equipment. Basic math skills are required as is basic knowledge of final weld inspections. This is a fast paced environment and requires the individual to be on the shop floor for most of the shift. Accreditation as CWI is a definite plus. Estimator

Ohio Steel Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced estimating professional to support our structural steel fabrication division. Responsibilities include: material takeoff, securing quotations of outsourced trades and activities, bid document preparation. Must be able to: accurately read and extract information from drawings, understand, clarify and account for all scope, obtain and understand all construction documents released by customer, interpret specifications, prepare precise material and labor takeoffs, identify and attain accurate sub quotes, prepare detail quotations, clearly communicate by phone, email or in person with customers, subs, engineers and detailers. Project Manager

Ohio Steel Industries, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to support our Structural Steel Fabrication division. Responsibilities include: managing all aspects of project's contractual obligations, reviewing contracts to ensure proper scope and terms, managing and monitoring costs for work while maintaining or improving target margins, preparation and management of change orders and invoicing, management of projects from start to finish. Applicants should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience working as a construction project manager. Must be proficient with reading shop and erection drawings, have excellent communication skills, abilities to work with internal and external customers, and strong computer skills. Press Department Lead

Ohio Steel Industries is looking for a Press Department Lead for their Columbus location. Individual will be responsible for improving quality and productivity within the press department. Hands on responsibility for proper die setting and the movement of dies in and out of presses and storing to assigned storage locations. Responsible for ensuring that dies are maintained and repaired properly. Responsible for making sure raw material is available or on order.
